For over 16 years, I struggled with my weight and always thought it was lack of self-control. After years of yo-yo dieting and self-sabotage, I managed to lose 60 pounds and have kept it off for over 13 years.
Even though I achieved my weight loss goals, I was still consumed with the thought of food and was stuck in a vicious cycle of eating well for a while and then not caring and eating whatever I wanted.
As I was getting my health coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I had more information than ever but my weight was starting to creep up.
It wasn’t until I started working with my own health coach that I realized I needed to dig deeper to figure out what was causing me to fall off track. Now, it’s my mission to help others discover why they’re able to resist food some days but then find themselves overindulging on others. The food didn’t change, so what did?
